Distribution Center Associate

Role and Responsibilities: The responsibilities of a Distribution Center Associate include the essential task of managing the inventory as it flows through the warehouse, making sure that all products are processed accurately and handled with care. • Transport merchandise onto and off trailers. • Review, authenticate, and scrutinize products via remote terminals to ensure order precision and examine for any possible defects. • Recognize, segregate, designate, and organize items for shifting to the relevant regions in the warehouse. • Operate power lift machinery for the swift and organized movement of merchandise. • Replenish select zones according to the indications from replenishment screens or reports to meet demand for goods. • Carry out order fulfillment tasks by moving goods from stock locations to shipping containers or pallets. • Move merchandise onto trailers by shifting items from the conveyor to the trailer or from a pallet to the trailer, and remember to scan any non-conveyable or non-diverted items prior to loading. • Authenticate the goods to guarantee the accuracy of the shipment, verify their condition, and load them onto the designated trailer. • Conduct regular maintenance activities to preserve cleanliness and safety within the workplace. • Modify duties as needed based on departmental placement and the necessities of the distribution center. Required Skills and Experience: • A high school diploma or a comparable credential is mandatory. • Capacity to hoist objects of up to 70 lbs in weight. • Proficiency in being flexible to changes in job tasks and departmental changes.
