We are seeking a talented and creative Website Developer to build and design websites through Squarespace. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Squarespace platform and a keen eye for design. This role is focused on leveraging Squarespace's capabilities to create professional and visually appealing websites. Responsibilities Build new websites from scratch and redesign existing sites using the Squarespace platform Work collaboratively with clients or project managers to understand and implement design and functional requirements Apply modern design principles and best practices for typography, color theory, and layout to create visually compelling, branded websites Manage website projects from initial concept through to final launch, ensuring all deadlines are met Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure websites are fully functional, responsive, and optimized for different devices Provide ongoing support and maintenance for live websites, including content updates and troubleshooting Requirements Proven experience in Squarespace development and website design, with a portfolio of previous work to demonstrate proficiency A minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in website development Deep proficiency with the Squarespace platform, including its native design features, templates, and e-commerce functionality Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design choices and collaborate effectively with clients Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Benefits Work From Home Performance Bonus Originally posted on Himalayas Apply tot his job
