Tutor Support Representative (Remote, Part-Time, Seasonal)

Learner Education is seeking a part-time, remote Tutor Support Representative to help match students with the right tutors. This entry-level position is ideal for someone early in their career who is passionate about education and can easily adapt to new systems and processes Responsibilities: • Review student profiles to understand needs and goals • Research tutor profiles to find the best matches • Communicate with tutors and manage responses via email • Schedule and confirm trial sessions between students and tutors • Track trial sessions from start to finish • Collaborate with Academic Advisors to ensure successful placements • Provide exceptional support to students and tutors • Conduct welcome calls for new tutors and build professional relationships • Maintain clear communication across teams • Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed Qualifications: • Empathetic and passionate about education • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Comfortable with technology and adapting to new tools (Google Suite, Slack, ZenDesk, VOIP) • Problem-solver with the ability to manage urgent situations calmly • Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented • Open to feedback and committed to personal growth Requirements • A basic understanding of the U. S. education system is preferred • Education, tutoring, or test prep experience is a plus, but not required • Must have a computer/laptop, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace Work Schedule: We are offering two schedule options (all times Eastern Time): • Monday - Friday: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM • Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Please indicate your preferred schedule when applying. Based on performance and business needs, there may be an opportunity to return for the Fall 2026 season Compensation: $18 per hour Benefits • Holiday Pay: Part-time employees who have been with the company for six months or more are eligible for holiday pay if the holiday falls on a regularly scheduled workday. In these cases, employees may submit the average number of hours they typically work on that day, instead of a default of 8 hours. • 401(k) Plan: Part-time employees are eligible to participate in the company's 401(k) plan.
