As an Technical Specialist EPIC, FHIR, Azure , you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards . Responsibilities: - Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of data pipelines that ingest, normalize, and integrate EPIC data for chatbot use cases. Interface with EPIC through APIs (e.g., FHIR, HL7, Chronicles, Bridges, Clarity/Caboodle) to extract relevant clinical data. Experience with Interfaces such as Cloverleaf or Inter Systems Design scalable data architectures on Azure (ADF, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Databricks, etc.). Collaborate with product and NLP/AI teams to make data accessible for conversational AI models. Strong understanding of EPIC data models, including Clarity and Caboodle, and experience extracting data via EPIC s APIs. Proven experience in Azure Cloud data services ADF, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Databricks. Deep knowledge of ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and building large-scale data solutions. Familiarity with FHIR/HL7 standards and healthcare interoperability. Experience working on chatbot or AI/ML initiatives is a plus. Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations. Build and enforce standards for data quality, lineage, metadata management, and observability. Excellent understanding of data privacy, security best practices, and compliance in healthcare. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience: - 10+ years Location: - This role is remote. Candidates must reside in the United States. Educational Qualifications: - Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc. Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
