About The Role

As the Staff Product Manager focusing on Monetization, the role involves maximizing revenue and profits through strategic monetization initiatives.

The successful candidate will collaborate with other monetization product managers and help define and drive the 2+ year monetization strategy, roadmap, and evolution of billing solutions. You will lead a cross-functional team to develop an open architecture and end-to-end billing solution, ensuring effective pricing and packaging design, implementation, and operation across various product lines.

You will derive an optimal pricing structure that is both intuitive and illustrative of the value delivered to customers across the entire product suite.

- Lead a cross-functional pricing team to develop the right architecture and solution, enabling successful design, implementation, and operation of pricing and packaging plans across product lines.

- Enhance the buyer persona journey in both self-serve and sales-led opportunities for various product lines.

- Identify and implement solutions to enhance cross-selling and upselling different products or editions.

- Collaborate with the Legal and Marketing teams to update terms and conditions for improving customer experience and clarifying pricing plans.

- Spearhead the development of consumption estimation tools for various products.

- Analyze data to monitor revenue performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the effective execution of monetization strategies.

- Share pricing design and implementation guidelines, along with best practices, with extended pricing teams.

- Stay informed about industry trends and developments in product monetization.

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.

- Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to drive revenue growth and mitigate customer churn.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in product monetization.

- Proven experience in developing and executing monetization strategies.

- Extensive knowledge of pricing and packaging implementation across product lines, quote-to-cash processes, finance, business systems, and customer support.

- Experience designing and implementing pricing plans that cater to both self-serve and sales-led opportunities.

- Ability to create innovative solutions to complex monetization challenges.

- Strong understanding of product management and financial concepts.

- High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

- Experience working in an enterprise environment at scale, with exposure to go-to-market strategies.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

- In-depth knowledge of product strategy, go-to-market strategy, and revenue analytics.

- Proven ability to influence internal stakeholders and manage external partnerships.

- Strong capability to work cross-functionally and build consensus among multiple stakeholders, while leading major change initiatives requiring collaboration.

- An accountable leader comfortable with ambiguity, proactive in problem-solving, and skilled in bringing structure to complex situations.

- Data-driven mindset, with a focus on measuring the impact of initiatives on business performance.

- Experience in setting strategy, driving change, and delivering substantial results.

- Proven experience in owning, implementing, and architecting end-to-end solutions for consumption-based pricing.

- Program management experience leading go-to-market system teams.

What to Expect

30 Days

- Onboard with the organization, meet key team members, and immerse in the company culture.

- Gain a comprehensive understanding of current monetization strategies and product offerings.

- Begin establishing relationships with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.

- Participate in pricing group discussions.

- Review assessments of the buyer persona experience.

90 Days

- Officially lead the cross-functional pricing team to develop a solution for consumption-based pricing.

- Present a detailed plan to improve buyer persona experiences.

- Formulate plans to enhance terms and conditions for clarity in overall pricing strategies.

- Create regular reporting and communication channels with stakeholders.

1 Year:

- Roll out the foundational architecture and solution for pricing and packaging implementation with contributions from cross-functional teams.

- Successfully implement consumption-based pricing for selected product lines.

- Enhance buyer persona experiences across all products.

- Fully execute monetization strategies, meeting key performance targets.

- Report significant revenue growth and improvements in user engagement.

$179.2K – $224K • Offers Equity
