The Role: We are seeking a talented and innovative UI/UX Game Designer to create engaging and intuitive user experiences for our portfolio of gambling-themed games. The ideal candidate will combine strong design thinking with deep understanding of gambling mechanics to create compelling game interfaces that balance aesthetics with functionality. This role focuses on designing unique variations of classic gambling games while ensuring an exceptional player experience. Key Responsibilities Game UX Design and Innovation ● Conceptualize and design user experiences for innovative gambling game variations, including card games, match-3 mechanics, and traditional casino games ● Create detailed user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design solutions ● Develop comprehensive UX documentation including user journeys, interaction patterns, and design systems ● Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve player experience UI Design and Visual Development ● Design visually appealing game interfaces that align with specific game themes and brand guidelines ● Create and maintain UI component libraries and design systems for consistent player experience ● Develop and document typography systems, color palettes, and visual effects guidelines for each game ● Ensure all UI elements support core gameplay mechanics while maintaining visual harmony Research and Analysis ● Conduct thorough competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities ● Stay current with gambling game mechanics and regulatory requirements ● Document and present research findings to stakeholders ● Research player behaviours and preferences to inform design decisions Cross-functional Collaboration ● Work closely with art teams, illustrators, and motion designers to ensure cohesive visual implementation ● Partner with game designers to optimize gameplay mechanics through intuitive UI/UX solutions ● Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications ● Present design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders Qualifications and Skills Required: ● Strong portfolio demonstrating gambling game UI/UX projects ● Deep understanding of gambling game mechanics and player psychology ● Experience with typography, color theory, and visual effects in gaming contexts ● Excellent communication and presentation skills ● Knowledge of current UI/UX trends and best practices in gaming ● Expert proficiency in Figma, including component creation, auto-layout, and prototyping ● 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years focused on game design Preferred: ● Experience with gambling game regulations and compliance requirements ● Knowledge of motion design principles and animation specifications ● Understanding of HTML5 and CSS capabilities for game development ● Mandarin speaking Original job Sr/UI/UX Game Designer/ Mandarin speaking /Remote/ posted on GrabJobs ©.
