JOB SUMMARY:The experienced individual designs, develops, and maintains business intelligence solutions, including data analytics platforms and reporting tools. The incumbent is expected to have background in data analysis and possess strong technical skills in database management systems and BI technologies. JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Translate business needs technical solutions,Apply defined business requirements to data using SQLDevelop, implement, and execute quality review processes to determine if new concepts meet business requirements and maintain consistent run time in production. Review will also be necessary specific to data ingestions and mappings as required. Implementing and maintaining database security measuresOptimizing database performance and ensuring data integrityTroubleshooting and resolving database-related issuesCollaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutionsAid in the training and mentorship of fellow SQL DevelopersOther work and special projects as assigned, including but not limited to, assistance with ETL processes and/or client implementationsCollaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. Demonstrate Company’s Core Competencies and values held within. JOB SCOPE: The incumbent works independently with limited general supervision to develop somewhat complex SQL algorithms that are utilized by our data mining and coordination of benefits teams. The incumbent will rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Work is varied with moderate complexity, requiring a moderate level of independent judgment within established guidelines. QualificationsREQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):Bachelors’ degree in a related field of study Minimum 7 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, At least 5 years of hands-on experience with data ingestion and ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Proven experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Familiarity with medical claims data or healthcare datasets is a strong advantage. Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development environment. Exposure to or experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) is highly desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and perform well under pressure. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies and techniques. COMPENSATIONThe salary range for this position is $120-140K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
