Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
Adapt and modify the general education curriculum to accommodate students' specific learning needs
Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings, including inclusive classrooms and resource rooms
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed
Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for goals and services
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
Active state SPED teaching certification
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff
Commitment to supporting student success and growth
