As an SQA Eng, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of gaming software and systems through rigorous testing. You will work closely with development teams to identify defects, develop test cases and track issues in JIRA, and verify compliance with regulatory and functional requirements. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for software quality. Responsibilities • Create test cases in JIRA for documenting bugs and testing gaming software design. • Perform functional, regression, and system testing to identify and document defects. • Collaborate with developers to analyze and troubleshoot issues. • Automate test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). • Ensure compliance with gaming industry regulations and company standards. • Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning and stand-ups. • Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports. • Conduct performance and security testing as required. • Work with DevOps teams to support testing frameworks. Qualifications Required: • 0-2 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing. • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices. • Experience using JIRA for test case management and defect tracking or Experience with other test management tools (e.g. TestRail, HP ALM). • Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting languages. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Able to identify potential system issues and recommend solutions. Preferred: • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Experience with gaming software testing or regulatory testing. • Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C#. • Familiarity with database testing (SQL, Oracle, MySQL). • Experience with performance and load testing tools. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $39,848 - $103,002. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
