Social Media Summer Intern

Support social media strategy execution to boost brand awareness and engagement at a global consumer products leader. Your Role Key responsibilities include: • Monitoring social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions • Responding to queries and engaging with followers to foster community growth • Reporting issues or negative feedback to the Social Media Analyst • Identifying trends and insights to optimize content and strategy • Assisting in preparing monthly social media performance reports • Staying updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices • Researching competitor activity and industry trends to provide actionable insights • Assisting in preparation of presentation slides and marketing materials • Supporting the marketing team with other assigned tasks About You The company is looking for: • High school diploma or GED • Current enrollment in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field • Familiarity with major social media platforms and best practices • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Highly organized with keen attention to detail • Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs) Compensation & Benefits • Salary range: $20.00 - $24.50 USD, based on experience, qualifications, and location • Discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance • Paid parental leave and disability coverage • Participation in 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions (eligibility applies) • Minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive at least 120 hours) • 13 paid holidays (vacation prorated based on hire date) • Paid sick leave adjusted by role and location per local laws Training & Development Opportunities for global experience, constant challenge, and development in an environment that respects work/life effectiveness.
