Senior Software Developer

Location: Fort Knox Centric (REMOTE) Required Clearance: Secret Required Education : Bachelor’ s Degree in relevant field. Required Experience : ten plus (10+) years of relevant experience Responsibilities: Lead the development and maintenance of software applications and systems. Experience in developing computer software code. Experience in a variety of software programming languages. Architect solutions for complex business requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in line with best practices. Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Continuously improve and refactor existing code to enhance performance and scalability. Provide technical leadership and strategic direction in software development projects. Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications. Requirements Work with DevOps and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment, testing, and monitoring of software applications. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including planning, analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment. Ensure timely delivery of software projects, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints. Identify potential risks and technical challenges, providing solutions to mitigate them. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to adopt new tools and technologies that improve software development processes. Utilize version control systems to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with team members. Follow established coding and development standards to maintain code consistency and quality.
