About the roleWe are seeking a highly talented and results-driven Senior SDET to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation testing frameworks that ensure the quality, resilience, and performance of our cutting-edge data platform. This is a unique opportunity to combine your expertise in software testing and quality assurance to help shape the future of enterprise-grade data products used by thousands of data teams worldwide. RequirementsProven experience in automated testing, including designing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks. Strong programming skills in at least one language such as JavaScript, Java, or Python. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Cypress.io, Playwright, or Selenium. Expertise in testing RESTful APIs and understanding of API automation best practices. Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions). Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and quality best practices. Ability to create and manipulate test environments and generate relevant test data. Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and experience working within cross-functional teams. Analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail. ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and continually improve the product testsDesign, refine, and enhance automation frameworks, tools, and test scenarios to increase testing efficiency and coverage. Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand new features and technical debt, contributing to quality assurance from inception through deployment. Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and deliver insightful reports to stakeholders. Participate actively throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring quality is integrated at every stage. Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, scripts, and reports. Develop test environments and generate relevant test data to simulate production conditions. Promote best practices for automation, testing, and code quality within the team. Support continuous integration efforts by integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Review developer deliverables from a product and quality perspective, providing constructive feedback. Nice-to-HaveExperience in cross-platform testing and distributed automation testing. Knowledge of systems architecture and performance testing principles. Proven ability to define clear acceptance criteria aligned with business needs.
