The Opportunity Data-driven decision-making is at the heart of modern business, but managing and processing data at scale can be complex and time-consuming. Our AI-powered ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) platform simplifies data workflows, enabling organizations to extract insights faster, automate repetitive tasks, and unlock the true potential of their data. As a Senior Backend Software Engineer (Python), you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering this innovation to our users. You’ll design and build high-performance backend services that make ELT operations easy, efficient, and accessible. Your expertise will directly influence product scalability, reliability, and user experience. The Team You’ll join a remote, cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers who are passionate about building the next generation of data automation tools. Together, we’re not just building software — we’re shaping the future of AI-powered ELT. What You’ll Do Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services primarily in Python. Develop and enhance APIs, ensuring they are secure, performant, and easy to use. Leverage AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift, RDS, etc.) to deliver robust cloud-native solutions. Lead the design and implementation of new features, ensuring scalability and reliability at every step. Collaborate with product, design, and QA to bring new ideas from concept to production. Improve automation and developer efficiency with modern CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Serverless Framework). Mentor and support other developers, raising the technical bar across the team. What You Bring Technical Expertise 6+ years of professional experience building backend applications, with Python as your primary language. Solid background in building distributed, cloud-native applications (AWS preferred). Familiarity with REST API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for writing clean, maintainable, and testable code. Collaboration & Communication Proven ability to work in remote, cross-functional teams. Strong English communication skills. Experience mentoring, reviewing code, and providing technical leadership is a plus. Why Join Us?
