Independently analyze and validate data sets. Research and analyze large volumes of data (over 3M records) to derive meaningful results that fit various business needs. Analyze data, identify data quality issues and application deficiencies, review reports to identify operational state of production applications. Establish timely, complete solutions. Triage and escalate critical production issues to key development stakeholders. Report development for new KPI’s and process monitoring. Own and review processes surrounding various daily/weekly/monthly data reports. Assist in development and expansion of data quality programs and initiatives. Prepare and present analysis results to our various business partner stakeholders. Mentor junior team members. Technical environment: SQL, PostgreSQL, Splunk, Tableau, Cloud Services (AWS), JIRA, Confluence; Agile environment. Job Requirement: • Master’s degree in Information Systems/Technology or Computer Science plus 3 years of experience in Business intelligence or data reporting required. Required Skills: expertise in SQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server; Splunk, Tableau, Cloud Services (AWS), JIRA, Confluence; Agile environment; data governance involving a multitude of different sensitive data sources primarily utilized in the insurance underwriting space; successfully managing and prioritizing multiple projects and reporting outcome of these projects; experience making presentations to technical and non-technical audiences. Some telecommuting permitted. (*Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Technology or Computer Science plus 5 years of progressive experience in Business intelligence or data reporting also acceptable). Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may also be eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
