We've previously founded and sold companies and created products used over 30 million times. Our team has also published research papers and won research competitions at top conferences like ICLR, AAAI, etc. Role Description We’re hiring our first SDR to help build our outbound engine from the ground up. As a Founding SDR at Advex, you’ll shape our early sales motion. You’ll be responsible for prospecting, engaging leads, and booking meetings — primarily via cold calling, personalized emails, social selling, and bespoke outbound strategies. You’ll also represent Advex at key industry conferences and work closely with the founders to build and evolve our outbound initiatives. You’ll join us as we scale our go-to-market efforts and push the limits of AI in the real world. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career, hungry to break into startups, and eager to grow your experience at a hyper-growth stage startup. What You’ll Do: Own the prospecting process from end-to-end, including tooling and lead sourcing Research and identify high-value prospects Write short, sharp, tailored emails that cut through the noise Make high-volume, high-quality cold calls to target buyers Test creative outreach strategies (video, voice notes, social, etc.) Book qualified meetings to hand off to sales team Represent Advex at select industry conferences and trade shows Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in Hubspot What We’re Looking For 0-3 years of experience in a sales or outbound role Passion and experience in AI, manufacturing, computer vision, or machine learning Comfortable with modern sales tools (Hubspot, Apollo, SalesNav, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication — concise, clear, confident Creative thinker with a bias toward action and experimentation Resilient, driven, and comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment Looking to grow a long-term career in sales — and eager to earn it!
