[Remote] Manager, Compliance Assurance

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DoorDash is hiring an experienced compliance auditor to help build a new compliance second-line-of-defense function. The Manager of Compliance Assurance will focus on translating regulatory requirements into actionable controls, leveraging automation, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with legal standards and internal policies. Responsibilities • Provide second-line-of-defense oversight to establish enterprise-wide compliance assurance frameworks and monitoring programs relating to Dasher pay models, pay transparency, deactivations, training, and a host of product related compliance initiatives • Translate regulatory requirements into effective controls and perform testing, monitoring, and documentation to ensure compliance • Conduct compliance assessments and audits to evaluate adherence to applicable laws, regulations, policies, and standards • Partner with Legal, HR, Product, Operations, and other teams to embed compliance requirements into policies and processes • Develop and oversee data collection and validation for compliance reviews and regulatory reporting, driving efficiencies through automation where possible • Provide detailed reporting and insights that inform leadership and strengthen compliance posture Skills • 6+ years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or a related field • Proven track record of executing compliance programs in a fast-paced environment, preferably in technology or finance sectors • Deep understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, standards, and best practices • Experience conducting audits, testing controls, and reporting findings • Experience working cross-functionally to align on compliance standards and reporting processes • Demonstrated experience working with automated solutions for compliance operations • Certifications such as the CIA, CISA, and CRISC or accreditation by industry bodies such as ACAMS in risk management or financial compliance, are preferred but not required Benefits • 401(k) plan with employer matching • 16 weeks of paid parental leave • Wellness benefits • Commuter benefits match • Paid time off and paid sick leave in compliance with applicable laws (e.g. Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act) • Medical, dental, and vision benefits • 11 paid holidays • Disability and basic life insurance • Family-forming assistance • Mental health program Company Overview • DoorDash is a food delivery platform that connects customers with local and national businesses.
