This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a solid grasp of English grammar and style to gain valuable experience in a flexible, fully remote role. You will be responsible for reviewing a variety of documents, ensuring they are error-free and meet the highest standards of clarity and accuracy. Key Responsibilities • Proofread various documents (academic, business, creative) for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, punctuation errors, and adherence to style guides. • Ensure consistency in formatting, terminology, and tone. • Verify the accuracy of citations and references where applicable. • Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all proofreading tasks. • Communicate effectively with project managers or clients when clarification is needed. • Meet deadlines for assigned projects. Required Skills • Excellent command of the English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation). • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors. • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and tracking changes. • Ability to follow specific instructions and style guides. • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace. • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
