Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

The Project Manager is part of a team that will provide comprehensive Program Management Support Services to the Army Office of Energy Initiatives (OEI). This will help in assisting with the collection, processing, and analysis of installation energy and related data; and, evaluating installation and higher headquarters requirements against installation capabilities... to identify energy security/resilience gaps.

Our salary range for this position is based on the market data, $74k to $90k per annum (range varies depending on experience and qualifications).

Key responsibilities:
• Management of all aspects of the development of multiple large-scale renewable and alternative energy resilience projects
• Responsible for independently coordinating and completing project activities with internal and external stakeholders and overcoming obstacles, ensuring each project phase is completed on schedule.
• Responsible for managing the development and project completion of the team members.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications To be successful in the role:
• At least 2 years of experience in working cradle to grave, including project scoping, site selection, DoD acquisition process, project approval process, and third-party project financing process.
• Must posses an active or interim secret clearance.
• Requires strong interpersonal skills to provide leadership to collaborate and work with a diverse team.
• With strong analytical skills to assess viability of potential renewable and alternative energy resilience project opportunities.
• Team player who can work with engineers and finance professionals.
• Strong communication skills to provide recurring and ad hoc project updates and synthesizing information clearly and succinctly for key decision briefs and procurement actions.
• Completed the USACE PROSPECT Course 253 - 1391 Preparation, or an equivalent course.
• Must lawfully reside in the United States and be eligible for employment (Planate does not sponsor visas or work permits) .
