Description
The Product Quality Control Specialist will collaborate closely with various teams, including product development, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure that products meet the rigorous quality standards set by Amazon. Your primary responsibility will be to identify defects and issues in products, and work with stakeholders to resolve these problems effectively. You will also be responsible for analyzing data from quality assessments and producing reports that inform decision-making at all levels of the organization.
In this role, you will utilize various quality control methodologies, including Six Sigma and Lean principles, to optimize processes and reduce waste. You will conduct regular audits of suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring compliance with Amazon’s quality requirements. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying areas for improvement, and will take the initiative to implement solutions that enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a structured schedule. You will use digital tools and software to manage your tasks and communicate with your team effectively. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with quality control methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL).
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Identify and document defects, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Develop and maintain quality control documentation and reports.
Perform audits of suppliers and manufacturers to ensure adherence to quality specifications.
Analyze data from quality assessments to identify trends and root causes.
Provide training and support to team members on quality control processes.

Educational Qualifications

Experience
