About the team At Stripe, product development is an extremely collaborative effort between engineering, design, analytics, partnerships, legal, risk and go-to-market teams. You’d be joining a group of experienced Product Managers who have a track record of successfully building large-scale business and products that are collectively impacting millions of users around the world. You will be joining Stripe’s Cards product team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with large enterprise users to uncover unmet needs, gather market signals, and translate them into product opportunities that drive monetization. You will inspect and optimize network economics holistically, identifying ways to reduce or eliminate costs, and when possible, convert those costs into new revenue streams—whether by passing them through to users or bundling them into existing value propositions. What you’ll do Responsibilities Work with engineering, design, data science, marketing, sales and cross-functional product teams to build and execute on a roadmap to enable Stripe’s users to better process cards payments. Identify opportunities to enrich transaction data and design ways to transform that data into value for both merchants and the broader network, including enabling new monetization models and cost offsets. Identify, define, and deliver improvements to Stripe’s cards payments, such as supporting more flexible authorization and capture scenarios that meet merchant cashflow needs while maintaining compliance and reliability. You will work across engineering, risk, and business teams to translate complex payment and data use cases into scalable, revenue-generating product capabilities. Act as the voice of the user in product and API designs, gathering direct feedback from customers and internal stakeholders Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. Minimum requirements 8+ years of experience in Product Management, specifically in delivering exceptional user experiences for complex and technical products. Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, legal, compliance, finance, and go-to-market Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate complex international market requirements Takes an ownership mindset and drives solutions to complex payments challenges Preferred qualifications Experience with payment systems, commerce platforms, or l other financial products Track record of driving revenue growth through product-led initiatives Experience designing APIs Experience working on world-class consumer and merchant products at scale Experience building brand new products or working in a startup environment.
