About the Role As a Part-Time Evening Group Therapist, you will play a vital role in facilitating psychoeducational and process groups, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care. Key Responsibilities Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups in a virtual setting, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients to explore their challenges and develop coping strategies. Develop and implement evidence-based curricula that cater to the diverse needs of our patients, focusing on symptom management, skill-building, and long-term wellness. Create and update treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals. Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care, sharing insights and expertise to inform patient treatment. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to state and federal guidelines, as well as HIPAA regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in mental health care. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess: A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. A current, unencumbered clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LPC-MHSP, LADAC, or LMFT) in accordance with state practice guidelines. Experience working with individuals struggling with mental health and substance use issues, with a background in dual diagnosis. Experience in higher levels of care, such as inpatient, residential, PHP, or IOP settings. A thorough understanding of and commitment to adhering to ethical guidelines, state and federal regulations, and HIPAA compliance. Adequate professional liability insurance. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered advantageous: Experience in developing and implementing holistic, evidence-based curricula. A strong background in group therapy, with a focus on psychoeducational and process groups. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and its application in mental health settings. Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and technology.
