Paid Media Specialist (Remote in Locations: GA, AL, MS, NC, SC, FL)

We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Paid Media Specialist with strong PPC experience and hands-on expertise in paid social and programmatic channels. Role Overview The Paid Media Specialist (PPC) is responsible for executing, optimizing, and analyzing paid media campaigns across search, social, and programmatic platforms. You’ll handle day-to-day campaign setup, trafficking, QA, pacing, budget adjustments, and performance reporting. This is a hands-on tactical role (non-supervisory) ideal for someone with 2–3+ years of experience managing paid media at an agency or high-volume environment. Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign Strategy & Execution • Build, launch, and optimize campaigns across: • Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing) • Paid Social (Meta/Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, potentially Pinterest/Snap as needed) • Programmatic (display, video, YouTube, DSPs) • Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, creative pairing, and campaign structuring based on goals. Campaign Management & Optimization • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly optimizations (bids, budgets, placements, audiences, negative lists, creative rotation). • Ensure proper tracking, pixel implementation, and conversion event mapping. • Monitor pacing and adjust budgets to align with monthly/quarterly spend targets. • Conduct A/B tests for creative, landing pages, and audience strategies. • Troubleshoot issues related to ad delivery, tracking discrepancies, and platform errors. Trafficking & QA • Set up campaigns, ad groups, and ad sets with precise naming conventions and trafficking parameters. • Execute strict pre-launch quality assurance to validate tracking, URLs, creative, and targeting. • Maintain trafficking sheets, creative matrices, and platform documentation. Reporting & Insights • Build weekly and monthly performance reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations. • Analyze KPIs such as CPC, CPA, ROAS, CTR, CPM, conversion volume, and engagement metrics. • Communicate performance trends and optimization decisions directly to internal stakeholders. Qualifications • 2–3+ years of hands-on PPC experience (agency preferred). • Experience managing campaigns in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and at least one programmatic DSP (DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar). • Strong understanding of: • Conversion tracking & pixel implementation • UTM setup and trafficking logic • Bidding strategies (manual + automated) • Audience targeting, lookalikes, remarketing, custom lists • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action. • Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Excel/Sheets. • Excellent attention to detail, especially during QA. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. • Strong communication and time-management skills. Preferred (Not Required) • Experience with: • YouTube TrueView and Video Action • Landing page testing tools (VWO, Optimizely, Google Optimize legacy experience) • Performance creative best practices • Feed management tools (e.g., DataFeedWatch, Feedonomics) • Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications.
