What You'll Do As an Overnight Stocking Coach, Non-Complex, you will be responsible for: Leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates Touring stores and providing feedback (Tour-to-Teach) to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency Communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction Introducing and leading company change efforts and providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions Modeling and demonstrating exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model Managing and supporting customer service initiatives, such as store of the community and community outreach programs Ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved and developing action plans to correct deficiencies Driving the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements Managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses in designated business areas Monitoring and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Development Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, and mentoring Assign duties and set clear expectations for associates Communicate expectations consistently and effectively, ensuring diversity and inclusion awareness Recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential Customer Experience and Service Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates Ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and improve customer experience Financial Performance and Sales Review and evaluate P&L statements to drive financial performance and sales Manage and assist in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses in designated business areas Monitor and ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes Requirements and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 2 years of college OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing What We Offer Competitive Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary starting at a range that reflects your experience and qualifications Multiple health plan options, including vision and dental plans for you and your dependents Financial benefits, including 401(k), stock purchase plans, life insurance, and more Associate discounts in-store and online Education assistance for associates and dependents Parental leave and pay during military service Paid time off, including vacation, sick, and parental leave Short-term and long-term disability benefits Career Growth and Learning Opportunities Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth Training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge Mentorship and coaching from experienced leaders Work Environment and Culture At Walmart, we strive to create a work environment that is inclusive, diverse, and respectful.
