The Role: Operations Specialist, Remote Assistance As an Operations Specialist, Remote Assistance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our robots on public roads and providing invaluable feedback to our team leads for system improvements. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of robotics and automation in logistics, contributing to a service used by millions. Key Responsibilities: Foster a culture of safety, inclusivity, and open communication within the team, ensuring that operations are conducted with the utmost care and efficiency. Become proficient in the software used for Remote Assistance operations, utilizing it to support robots efficiently and address their needs in real-time. Collaborate with the team to identify operational inefficiencies and provide actionable feedback to shift leads to continually improve team efficiency and performance. Aid operators in their daily activities, ensuring strict adherence to Remote Assistance standards and protocols. Work flexible hours/days, including a range from 6AM to 11 PM, Monday through Sunday, to support our around-the-clock operations. Essential Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in autonomous and/or robotics operations, demonstrating a strong background in managing and troubleshooting complex robotic systems. Proficiency in Google Suite applications, including Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms, and Calendar, to effectively manage data, documents, and communications. Excellent communication skills via Slack, both in writing and verbally, to ensure seamless team collaboration and issue resolution. Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and perform well under pressure, adapting to the dynamic environment of robotics and automation. Well-organized and attentive to detail, with a strong focus on maintaining operational safety and efficiency. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Jira or similar issue reporting/ticketing tools to collect feedback, schedule fixes, and track progress, enhancing operational efficiency. A background in debugging and triaging complex systems, such as autonomous robots, to identify and resolve issues promptly.
