Responsibilities Develop marketing strategies for diverse science and technology companies Create compelling content Manage digital campaigns Coordinate events Interview founders for success stories Skills Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Writing, Business, or Graphics/Digital Design and one to two years of related experience in marketing, communications, or digital marketing, preferably in a startup, technology, or innovation environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience Excellent written and spoken English communication skills with demonstrated marketing copywriting abilities Experience with visual content creation, including graphics, short videos, and social media content development Proficiency with marketing tools such as Canva, Buffer, WordPress, etc Strong organizational and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Benefits An additional 7% pay in lieu of benefits & 8% vacation pay Employer paid extended health & dental plans Professional development funds (minimum contract period of 1 year) Hybrid-work program for eligible positions Company Overview Simon Fraser University is a public research university located in Burnaby, BC.
