Twilio is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Manager of Government Relations & Public Policy for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our company by developing and implementing strategies that positively impact Twilio's government relations and public policy initiatives in the EMEA region. Develop and implement strategies to positively impact Twilio's government relations and public policy initiatives in the EMEA region. Monitor and analyze political and regulatory developments in the region and assess their potential impact on Twilio's business. Build and maintain relationships with government officials, industry associations, and other stakeholders to promote Twilio's interests and influence policy decisions. Represent Twilio's interests in meetings, hearings, and other forums with government officials and policymakers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Product, and Communications, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and approach. Develop and maintain a network of external experts and advisors to provide insights and support on key policy issues. Conduct research and gather data to support policy positions and develop advocacy materials. Proactively engage with internal stakeholders to identify potential policy issues and develop strategies to address them. Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings for internal and external audiences on relevant policy topics. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform policy positions and advocacy efforts. Provide guidance and support to other team members on government relations and public policy matters. Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure consistency and alignment in policy positions and messaging. Communicate updates and developments on government relations and public policy matters to senior leadership and relevant teams. Participate in industry events and conferences to promote Twilio's brand and influence policy discussions. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of government relations and public policy strategies and make recommendations for improvements. Twilio is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
