Develop and implement statistical strategies to support research and development efforts in genetics and biotechnology. Lead and manage a team of biostatisticians to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of statistical analysis. Design and conduct statistical analyses of large and complex datasets, utilizing appropriate statistical methods and software. Interpret and communicate statistical results and provide insights to cross-functional teams. Collaborate with scientists, clinicians, and other stakeholders to develop study protocols and research plans. Identify and mitigate potential statistical and data-related issues, and provide solutions to ensure accurate and reliable results. Stay current with advancements in biostatistics and genetics research, and incorporate new methodologies and techniques into the company's statistical practices. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior biostatisticians, and foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. Participate in the development and review of study reports, manuscripts, and other scientific publications. Represent the company at scientific conferences and meetings, and build relationships with key opinion leaders in the biostatistics field. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all statistical activities.
