Junior Scrum Master

They are seeking a Junior Scrum Master to support agile delivery, assist in running key ceremonies, and promote a culture of agility and continuous improvement within teams. Responsibilities Facilitate agile ceremonies for cross-functional teams, including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews Support Technical Leads and Product Managers in maintaining and organizing backlogs Assist in monitoring sprint health using Jira and other tools to track velocity, blockers, and delivery trends Promote best practices in Agile methodologies and help identify areas for process improvement Encourage collaboration, communication, and transparency across teams Escalate issues and dependencies appropriately and assist with resolving blockers Help prepare and share relevant updates to stakeholders on team progress and outcomes Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment across the broader engineering organization Partner with Product and Engineering teams to support project execution Coordinate efforts across distributed teams (including iOS, Android, full stack) throughout the full software development lifecycle Skills Up to 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Coordinator, or in a related role Foundational understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum and/or Kanban) and agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, etc.) Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills A continuous improvement mindset and a collaborative working style Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience or coursework related to software or digital product development is a plus Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent) is a plus Benefits Discretionary performance-based bonus Stock awards Healthcare (featuring a plan with premiums covered by Noom) Paid holidays and paid leave (including Summer Fridays) 401k program Various cash stipends and budgets for employees (wellness, tech, learning & development, etc) Company Overview Noom is a psychology-based digital health platform used to provide intelligent nutrition and exercise coaching.
