The museum's mission is to collect, conserve, exhibit, and interpret works of art of outstanding quality and historical importance. The Opportunity As a Digital Designer at the J. Paul Getty Museum, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from digital communications and promotional materials to environmental graphics and web-based content. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design solutions that meet the museum's brand standards and exhibition graphic identity. Key Responsibilities Plan, develop, and execute digital and print design schemes for museum activities, including temporary exhibitions and public programs. Conceptualize and produce design deliverables for various digital platforms, such as email, web assets, social media, and digital signage. Design and code email campaigns in coordination with communications and other museum departments. Generate digital and printed materials, and coordinate the review and approval of designed assets. Implement Getty brand standards and exhibition graphic identity across all digital assets and communication platforms. Design digital assets for promotional campaigns, and integrate organizational systems, standards, and best practices into design solutions. Manage project-specific administrative tasks, such as project budgets, scheduling, procurement, and communication. Supervise department volunteers and interns, as needed. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as graphic design or visual communications. 3-5 years of experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
