This role is pivotal in driving the company's key objectives, including YouTube growth and traffic to the company's website for conversion to paid subscriptions. The successful candidate will be responsible for all things YouTube, from developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy to day-to-day management of the YouTube business. This includes audience segmentation, data-informed creative recommendations, and the execution of a post-production edit plan that maximizes video content. The role demands a proactive mindset, a strong understanding of YouTube analytics, and the ability to optimize content for maximum impact. The Head of YouTube will also be expected to partner with the digital leadership team to inform the customer journey from YouTube viewer to paid subscriber and to ensure that the content developed aligns with the company's key objectives. Applicants for the Head of YouTube Post Production and Audience Development role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years of digital video creative experience, with at least 5 years specifically in editing videos for YouTube and developing creative strategies for the platform.
