Graphic Designer/Illustrator
Job description Craft Smith (www.craftsmithco, @craftsmithco) is a craft and hobby company that works with retailers like Michaels, Ross, and PopShelf. We're looking for talented creatives to join our design team. Responsibilities • Illustrating and Designing and developing products for the stationery, craft, and party industry • Collaborating with other team members, and making sure that the best products are being put out onto the market. • Press readying • Giving creative feedback to team members • Staying up to date with trends and the marketplace Qualifications • Passionate about design and upto date on trends and the industry. • Detail oriented and organized, and work well with other designers to ensure the successful development of concepts. • 2-3 years experience in design or illustration • Strong typography and lettering skills. • Ideally a BFA in graphic design or illustration. However, portfolio and resume are the ultimate determination in hiring. • In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite. • We are not looking for 3D modelling at this time.
