We are currently seeking a Facilities Support Lead to join our dedicated team at our Burbank, CA headquarters. As a Facilities Support Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our facility management services, ensuring our headquarters remain a pristine, welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments, managing a team of facilities staff, and liaising with external contractors to ensure all aspects of the physical workplace meet Disney’s exacting standards.
From routine maintenance to innovative enhancements, your work will directly contribute to the operational excellence and workplace satisfaction that help make Disney a leader in entertainment. You’ll be expected to manage projects, handle budgets, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, all while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere that is both productive and positive.
#### Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations of facility management, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
2. Manage and lead a team of facilities staff, setting expectations and providing training and support.
3. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timely completion of services.
4. Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
5. Implement safety protocols and ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance requirements.
6. Coordinate space planning and office relocations to optimize workspace efficiency.
7. Continuously evaluate facility management practices and recommend improvements or innovations.
#### Requirements:
1. Proven experience in facilities management or a similar leadership role.
2. Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
3. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
4. Ability to effectively negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors.
5. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and facility operations.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.
#### Educational Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
#### Experience:
– At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
