As a Facilities Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring efficient and seamless functionalities across multiple sites. You will play a crucial role in managing maintenance staff, coordinating with contractors, and interacting with multiple department heads to ensure that our facilities support the enchanting experiences Disney is known for.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facility management, exceptional leadership qualities, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on quality. You will be expected to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, manage budgets effectively, and contribute to sustainability initiatives.
You will also oversee the implementation of new facilities projects, from conception through to completion, ensuring they meet our strategic objectives and are delivered on time and within budget. Regular reporting to senior management on facilities status, challenges, and opportunities will be a key part of your role.
### Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of Disney’s facilities, ensuring they meet the company’s standards and operational requirements.
2. Manage and supervise facilities staff, including maintenance and custodial teams, to ensure high performance and professional development.
3. Coordinate with external contractors and service providers, ensuring all activities conform to contractual agreements and quality standards.
4. Develop and manage annual budgets for the facilities department, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
5. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations concerning workplace safety and health standards.
6. Lead sustainability initiatives to enhance environmental responsibility within the facilities operations.
7. Implement and oversee the maintenance of facilities management technology systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
### Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role, preferably in the entertainment, hospitality, or related industry.
3. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and complex projects.
4. Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
6. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to facilities management.
7. Ability to respond to emergency situations effectively and maintain a calm demeanor.

### Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required.
### Experience:
