Key Responsibilities As a Virtual Assistant at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Guest and reservation management: Respond to guest inquiries, process reservations, and provide accurate information about our properties and neighborhoods. Virtual property management: Manage property listings, update calendars, and ensure that all properties are accurately represented on our platforms. Cleaner management, scheduling, and coordination: Arrange for housekeeping services, schedule cleanings, and ensure that all properties are clean and ready for guest arrival. Guest issue resolution: Address and resolve guest issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all concerns are handled with a high sense of urgency. Platform management: Manage our presence on various short-term rental platforms, including Airbnb, and ensure that all listings are up-to-date and accurate. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Essential Qualifications: 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality or short-term rental industry. 2+ years of vacation rental customer service or hotel experience, with a strong understanding of the short-term rental market. Availability to work during normal U.S. business hours, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities. Strong verbal, written, and reading skills in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Tech-savvy, with experience working with multiple technology platforms and a willingness to learn new systems and tools. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Airbnb customer service, including managing guest communications and resolving issues. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines. Conflict resolution experience, with a strong ability to handle difficult situations and negotiate solutions. Success Metrics As a Virtual Assistant at blithequark, your performance will be evaluated based on the following key metrics: Maintain a quick response rate to all guest inquiries, with a goal of responding to all messages within 1 hour. Resolve all guest issues with a high sense of urgency, with a goal of resolving all issues within 3 hours or ASAP. Contribute to a review rating of 4.8 or higher, through exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
