About the Role As a Student Success Coach at blithequark, you will be the driving force behind our students' academic journeys. Your mission will be to inspire, motivate, and support students as they navigate their educational paths, overcome challenges, and develop the skills necessary to become lifelong learners. Working remotely from the comfort of your home office, you will be the mentor, guide, and liaison that our students need to succeed. Key Responsibilities Support enrollment, student development, and retention services to ensure a quality learning experience for all students. Proactively manage a group of assigned students, coaching them through their degree programs and providing timely outreach and support. Foster a trusted environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests. Encourage and support students as they develop the skills and knowledge necessary for academic success. Teach students how to utilize resources effectively to maximize their success. Become a certified resume reviewer to provide resume and career development support, empowering students to achieve their career goals. Act as a liaison between students and various departments, ensuring seamless communication and support. Essential Qualifications To excel as a Student Success Coach at blithequark, you will need: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent). A minimum of two years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, or counseling. Knowledge of academic policies and procedures. The ability to quickly learn technical skills and adapt to new systems. Excellent communication and listening skills, with a pleasant phone manner. A strong customer support focus and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: Experience working in an educational setting or with student populations. Familiarity with CRM systems and student information systems. Certification in resume writing or career coaching.
