Job Overview and Responsibilities As a Senior Product Designer on our Customer Platform team, you will be responsible for designing omni-channel commerce products and experiences around order fulfillment. Your primary focus will be on innovating and developing approaches for clients to complete and receive their purchases via pickup and delivery. You will set the vision for the best customer experience and create a space for cross-functional colleagues to collaborate. You will use your expertise in design thinking to collaborate with partner teams, facilitate conversations, create concepts, run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes to leverage collective creativity. • Designing at the highest level of craft for a broad population of Walmart customers • Leading a program of work and collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional partners through delivery • Creating the experience strategy and setting the design direction for the program that delivers on customer needs and business goals • Actively soliciting feedback from peers and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product design lifecycle • Engaging the design research team at the right points during the design process to ensure the right insights inform the work • Rapid prototyping and experimenting in a fast-paced environment • Multitasking across different projects and adapting to changing priorities • Creating scalable reports in partnership with our design tool team • Working with our design system team to expand the component library • Championing the design thinking philosophy throughout the organization • Communicating effectively with kindness and empathy • Participating seamlessly with cross-functional partners • Staying up to date with the latest trends, inside and outside of retail Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong design aesthetic that brings together brand expressions and systems thinking. You should have a demonstrable track record of working cross-functionally with shipping successful products in a fast-paced environment. You should thrive in an ever-changing environment and have a strategic attitude and a system thinking approach to taking the complex and making it simple.
