Job Details The following are the key details of the job: Hiring Organization: Walgreens Post Name: Data Entry Specialist Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Industry: Private Employment Type: Full Time Work Hours: 8 Hours Salary: $26/Hour Locations: Orlando, USA (Remote work arrangement) Key Responsibilities As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: Mining raw data sets to deliver standardized, analysis-ready patient datasets from in-house data resources or licensed platforms Analyzing and interpreting results, and helping shape analysis methodology Collaborating with other members of the Walgreens Clinical Trials team to deliver meaningful insights from real-world, clinical, and other data sources to support biopharmaceutical RWE and clinical trial requests Cleaning, transforming, and storing data into an integrated data lake for future analysis and broader team use Performing data mining and statistical analysis to analyze RWE/RWD and discover new insights regarding patient populations and treatment outcomes Supporting the development of real-world data, analytics, and platform capabilities, applying advanced analytics and tools to resolve scientific questions from biopharmaceutical companies Collaborating on the design and execution of outcomes research studies Ensuring high-quality, comprehensive, and readily interpretable predictions from RWE studies and analyses Building dashboards, analytics, and reports for internal and external use Conducting a reasonable level of effort on new real-world data suppliers, vendors, and driving RWD quality evaluations to inform project decisions Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Experience in designing and executing robust and reproducible statistical analyses with respect to epidemiology and observational research with healthcare data Knowledge of common statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, classification and regression, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis Experience handling large data from multiple data sources Experience handling protected patient health information Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power Bi, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI intelligence tools Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are preferred but not required: PhD or Master's degree in statistics/biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related field Experience with EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and insurance claims databases Knowledge of clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode) Experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR) Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and/or solutions Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics Understanding of statistical and machine learning techniques, ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Advanced data analysis skills: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate insights and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Collaboration skills: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals Problem-solving skills: Ability to apply advanced analytics and tools to resolve scientific questions and complex problems Time management skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Walgreens, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
