About the Role We're seeking an experienced PC Support Technician to join our team based out of West Palm Beach, Florida, near the Palm Beach International Airport. As a PC Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch technical support for computers, servers, peripherals, and associated networks in a face-to-face customer environment. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic, 24x7x365 environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our critical systems. Key Responsibilities Install and replace hardware (computers, printers, laptops, etc.) and validate solution implementation. Respond to trouble calls from customers, providing timely and effective solutions. Troubleshoot and identify hardware errors in computers, printers, laptops, and other peripherals. Manage assets, spares, and consumables, ensuring efficient inventory control. Perform quarterly preventative maintenance on workstations and peripherals to prevent issues before they arise. Qualifications and Skills Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (AA/AS degree or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a High School diploma, a GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required. Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident ("Green Card" holder). Preferred Qualifications A minimum of 1 year of experience in a field technician role or comparable experience. Knowledge and experience with Windows 7 and 10 platforms. Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify hardware errors. Understanding of SLAs, severity levels, and industry best practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and French. Experience with asset, spares, and consumables management.
