Job Overview: Lead Creative Strategist As the Lead Creative Strategist, you'll be responsible for managing our team of Creative Strategists & Copywriters, setting the tone and vision for each client's set of ads, and delivering beginning-to-end creative strategy and ad creative production for DTC brands. You'll be the driving force behind our creative strategy, ensuring that our ads are ahead of the curve and geared towards customer acquisition KPIs. Key Responsibilities: Leading the Creative Strategy Team As a leader, you'll be responsible for: Mentoring, coaching, and supporting your team of creative strategists & copywriters, assigning workload, reviewing their work, and providing feedback. Facilitating weekly department meetings to review key projects, priorities, and ongoing internal documentation. Scheduling and leading 1:1s monthly with each individual to ensure their careers, skills, and work happiness are monitored and developed. Meeting with the leadership team frequently to report on key client issues, process improvements, and capacity planning. Key Responsibilities: Creative Research, Strategy, and Scriptwriting As a creative strategist, you'll be responsible for: Working on key projects to ensure you fully understand our industry, process, and can be hands-on to best support your team members. Reviewing the latest trends in social to ensure Creative Milkshake ads are ahead of the curve. Delivering successful creative content geared towards customer acquisition KPIs (CAC/CPA & ROAS). Designing video ads for direct response campaigns and implementing a test-and-learn approach to creative design. Requirements: What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you'll need: 3-5+ years of experience at a marketing agency or similar fast-paced environment. Experience or desire to manage a team, with a proven track record of leadership and team management. Exceptional copywriting, communication, and attention to detail-skill sets that demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively. Understanding of conversion-based, direct response copywriting, proofing, and storytelling for short-form paid social. High emotional intelligence, with the ability to listen to, support, and encourage others. Fluency in English and a keen eye for detail. Preferred Qualifications: Nice to Have While not essential, the following qualifications are a plus: Remote work experience, with a proven track record of working effectively in a remote environment. Experience in social media analysis, including A/B testing, and a test-and-learn approach to creative design. Hands-on experience designing video ads for direct response campaigns.
