About the Role As a Marketing Expert at blithequark, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, margin objectives, and market share growth within assigned categories. Key Responsibilities Contribute directly to sales and margin objectives in assigned categories by analyzing relevant data and integrating findings into Category Plans. Drive the strategic execution of everyday arrangement activities, including off-rack plans, tracking promotional periods, and performing present analysis to make corrective moves when necessary. Collaborate with an internal team of blithequark experts across various departments, including Stock, Estimating, Advancement, Finance, Store Brands, Store Configuration, Advertising, and Store Operations. Analyze sales records and stock levels of current inventory to inform marketing decisions. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of competitive dynamics, identifying new competitive opportunities and making recommendations. Stay updated with market changes, researching client item preferences, provider costs, and the competitive climate to drive informed marketing strategies. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application. Technical proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some experience with Access or other database information. Willingness to travel 5-10% for business needs.
