Job Overview We're currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, with a focus on data center equipment manufacturing. As a Manufacturing Engineer at blithequark, you will play a critical role in assessing product designs, creating processes, tools, and procedures behind our robust search technology, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the development of our manufacturing capabilities, and we're looking for someone who is passionate about innovation, teamwork, and delivering exceptional results. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and manage the implementation of flexible manufacturing processes and systems for specific data center products, with a focus on optimizing cost, quality, and flexibility. Collaborate with Design, Product Management, and Operations teams to identify and address potential manufacturing roadblocks in early development stages. Analyze and interpret complex production data to drive informed manufacturing strategies, and identify and implement solutions to improve performance and efficiency across the supply chain. Lead the assessment, qualification, and strategic development of contract manufacturers, with an emphasis on future capabilities and growth. Utilize Product Data Management (PDM) systems to create Bills of Materials (BOM), Approved Vendor Lists (AVL), and manage Engineering Change Notices/Requests (ECN/O), and lead the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team to align figure and BOM structures. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Designing, Cycle Designing, Assembling Designing, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Design. 6 years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and 5 years of experience in design and implementation of civil high-voltage applications in data center construction. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, and methods used to build and scale high-volume assembly and manufacturing operations. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in Science or a related field, with experience directing yield improvements and process duration reductions for high-volume and high-complexity parts. Experience with LEAN Manufacturing/5S/8D practices, and experience in charging data centers. Ability to influence product electrical design and manufacturing process, and capacity to travel up to 30% of the time. Strong industry knowledge, experience identifying and qualifying advanced manufacturing processes, and understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback.
