As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will be part of this critical team, working closely with cross-functional groups to manage the global supply chain and logistics operations that support Google's product delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage Day-to-Day Logistics Operations: Oversee the daily logistics activities of multiple data center locations, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently. Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Create, lead, and support cross-functional networking initiatives and projects that drive improvements in logistics operations and supply chain management. Monitor and Improve Vendor Performance: Manage and monitor vendor performance scorecards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and business case development to support logistics process changes or upgrades. Identify and Drive Improvement Opportunities: Identify areas for improvement in logistics operations and supply chain management, develop business cases to support these improvements, and present them to stakeholders and management for approval. Manage Relationships with Internal Clients: Manage relationships with different internal clients at data centers, ensuring that their logistics needs are met and that they are satisfied with the service they receive. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A four-year college education in Business, Strategies, Tasks, Designing, or a related field, or comparable relevant experience. At least 2 years of experience managing warehousing, assembly, or supply chain activities. Experience in project planning, business case development, influencing teams, presentations, and financial modeling. Experience managing people in remote and provincial areas. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply structured thinking and logic to drive solutions. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: An MBA or Graduate degree in a related field. A certificate in project management. Experience in operations management, problem-solving, 3PL vendor relationships, budget creation, and cost management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive complex projects forward.
