Job Summary As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing support and resolving concerns via phone, email, chat, and social media. You'll utilize your excellent communication skills, empathy, and knowledge of healthcare to address a wide range of questions and issues, ensuring that every interaction leaves a positive impression. Key Responsibilities: Respond to patient inquiries and concerns via phone, email, chat, and social media, providing timely and effective solutions. Utilize active listening skills to understand patients' needs and concerns, ensuring that every interaction is personalized and empathetic. Provide feedback on call issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service processes. Collaborate with internal teams, such as healthcare professionals and billing departments, to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless communication. Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, ensuring that all relevant information is documented and easily accessible. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and company policies to ensure that your knowledge and skills are current and relevant. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Minimum 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and healthcare professionals. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and provide effective solutions. Typing speed of 25 WPM or higher. Ability to work in a home-based environment, with a reliable computer, internet connection, and quiet workspace. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in healthcare customer service or a related field. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA. Certification in customer service or a related field. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology tools.
