Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls from members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients related to pharmacy benefits, responding to questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Research and resolve problems related to pharmacy benefits, working closely with other operational departments to ensure that issues are addressed promptly and effectively. Assist members in understanding and maximizing the use of their pharmacy distribution program, providing guidance and support as needed. Utilize our computerized system to gather information and respond to questions, documenting issues and resolutions in a common database. Escalate issues as necessary to ensure that concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries, continuously improving the customer service process and reducing potential legal concerns. Identify and escalate concerns received from patients and/or clients, working to expedite corrective action and ensure that their needs are met. Adhere to quality and production standards, complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety regulations. Perform other duties as needed to support the success of our team. Essential Qualifications Preferred Experience 1 year of experience in a call center environment, preferably in a customer service role. 1 year of experience in customer service, with a focus on resolving complex issues and providing exceptional support. Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues related to pharmacy benefits. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining productivity standards and performance guarantees. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries. Compassionate and empathetic approach to customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional support and guidance to members, providers, and clients.
