Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing support and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities: Connect directly with customers who reach out to us for various inquiries, including assisting with pet searches, finding the perfect toy, or troubleshooting issues. Analyze and resolve customer issues in a proactive and efficient manner, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up as needed. Work with empathy, active listening, patience, and understanding to provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and colleagues alike. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures, embracing feedback and growth opportunities. Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and other teams across the organization using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to a customer-driven culture of cooperation. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 2 years of customer care experience. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. The ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customer interactions simultaneously. Proficiency in using computers, including data entry and navigation through various systems and websites to find information and support customers. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as required by the specialty unit. A high school diploma or equivalent. The ability to pass a background investigation. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A Bachelor's degree. Previous experience in the pet industry or a related field. Technical Requirements: To work remotely with blithequark, you will need: A dedicated workspace that is quiet, free from distractions, and equipped with a computer, screen, and reliable internet connection. A solid wired, high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 30 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps. A webcam and headset for virtual meetings and customer interactions. A wireless or tablet device for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify. blithequark will provide all necessary equipment, including a PC, screen, keyboard, mouse, and headset.
