As a Manufacturing Engineer at Blithequark, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and managing the manufacturing processes and systems for our data center equipment. About the Role As a key member of our Manufacturing Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, Product Management, and Operations, to identify and address potential manufacturing challenges early in the development stages. Your expertise will help drive informed manufacturing strategies, improve performance and efficiency across the supply chain, and ensure that our data center equipment meets the required specifications. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and manage the implementation of scalable manufacturing processes and systems for specific data center products, optimizing for cost, quality, and scalability. Collaborate with Design, Product Management, and Operations teams to identify and address potential manufacturing roadblocks in early development stages. Analyze and interpret complex production data to drive informed manufacturing strategies and identify solutions to improve performance and efficiency across the supply chain. Lead the assessment, qualification, and strategic development of contract manufacturers with a focus on future capabilities and growth. Utilize Product Data Management (PDM) systems to create Bills of Materials (BOM), Approved Vendor Lists (AVL), and manage Engineering Change Notices/Orders (ECN/O). Lead the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team to align forecast and BOM structures. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience. 10 years of experience as a Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, or Product Engineer. 6 years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). 5 years of experience in the design and execution of civil high-voltage applications in data center development. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate degree in Science or a related field. Experience leading yield improvements and process duration reductions for high-volume and high-complexity components. Experience with LEAN manufacturing/5S/8D practices. Experience in charging data centers. Ability to influence the product electrical design and manufacturing process.
