As a key member of our Ring Data Warehouse team, you will design, develop, and implement cutting-edge solutions that enable us to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will work with a complex data environment, utilizing the right architecture to manage data and support multiple analytics use cases, including business reporting, production data pipelines, AI, enhancement models, statistical models, and simulations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure data pipelines to support business partners, utilizing tools available in Local AWS as well as Blithequark's internal devices and technologies. Collaborate with partners to understand their needs and work closely with them to ensure data ingestion meets business clients' requirements and is well-modeled and organized to promote scalable use and good data cleanliness. Learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and business needs, building and improving structures and processes, and incorporating new patterns and technologies where suitable. Gather and examine requirements from Business Partners across verticals like Memberships, Sales, Reverse Strategies, Finance, Product, and more. Construct new data ingestions using a combination of Local AWS services as well as internal Blithequark devices. Maintain and improve existing data ingestions, ensuring they meet evolving standards and corporate orders. Build, improve, and maintain structures or tools for internal team and external partner use to manage data. Perform Code Audits and ensure best practices are followed for ETL and Data Cleanliness by colleagues and supporting teams. About the Team The Ring Data Warehouse team manages the integrated data repository for Ring. We acquire and publish data from various internal and external sources, which are used by different partners, such as Ring Product engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Advertising, Customer service, and Sales data. Locations We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following areas: Hawthorne, CA, USA Essential Capabilities 3+ years of data engineering experience. Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. Experience with SQL. Preferred Capabilities Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions. Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS. Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases). Our compensation reflects the cost of work across several US geographic markets. The base salary for this position ranges from $105,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on various factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Blithequark is a total pay organization. Subject to the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other types of pay might be given as a component of a complete pay bundle, in addition to a full scope of clinical, financial, as well as other benefits.
