Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer III to join our Walmart eCommerce Marketplace Strategy and Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data pipelines that drive business insights and decision-making. You'll work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to solve complex problems and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain complex data pipelines using Big Data Platforms like Spark, Hadoop, and BigQuery Create real-time data streaming and processing using Kafka and/or Spark streaming Develop data pipelines with Apache Airflow and optimize queries for large data sets Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to solve complex business problems Develop and maintain data governance processes and documentation Contribute to the development of business cases and recommendations Support the implementation of data governance practices Develop and maintain data models, including conceptual, physical, and logical data models Write code to develop required solutions and application features Test and deploy software to production servers Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: At least 3+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics using Big Data Platforms like Spark, Hadoop, and BigQuery Strong programming skills in SQL, Java, Python, and Scala Experience with Apache Airflow and distributed SQL query engines like Presto Experience with public cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud Experience with relational database platforms like SQL Server, MySQL, Informix, and Oracle Preferred Qualifications We're looking for candidates with: Experience with data governance and data modeling Experience with data transformation and integration Experience with data source identification and data quality checks Experience with code development and testing Experience with data science and analytics trends Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and tools Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits We offer: Opportunities for career growth and professional development Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools Collaborative and dynamic work environment Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for learning and development through training programs and mentorship Work Environment and Company Culture We're committed to creating a work environment that's inclusive, diverse, and supportive.
