Job Summary As an Experienced Full Stack Building Controls Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients and partners while minimizing support costs. You will be responsible for directing diagnostic procedures, providing proactive solutions to issues, applying advanced software techniques, implementing solutions, and following up to ensure the effectiveness of solutions. You will also perform exceptional or unique programming activities to building controls systems by adjusting or changing the building controls techniques, recognizing and responding to patterns with alerts, thawouts, and work orders, and identifying and responding to manufacturer reviews. Key Responsibilities * Direct diagnostic procedures to ensure client and partner safety and satisfaction while minimizing support costs * Provide proactive solutions to issues, applying advanced software techniques and implementing solutions * Perform exceptional or unique programming activities to building controls systems by adjusting or changing the building controls techniques * Recognize and respond to patterns with alerts, thawouts, and work orders, and identify and respond to manufacturer reviews * Collaborate with teams in building execution and controls by utilizing and sharing assets, data, and tools * Determine client needs and business needs while planning and executing work tasks * Provide guidance, feedback, and support to ensure project timelines and work quality are achieved and demonstrate and help others with how to adapt to change or new challenges * Create, share, and implement processes and practices to address business issues by collaborating with leaders, colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders * Analyze and apply data from multiple sources and track progress and results * Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and improvement * Participate in teams in building execution and controls by utilizing and sharing assets, data, and tools * Complete work tasks and needs in Building Execution and Controls by utilizing strategies, knowledge, and resources Requirements * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, or a related field) * 2+ years of experience in building controls, client support, or a related field * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify solutions * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams and stakeholders * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ * Experience with building controls systems and software, including programming languages and tools * Strong understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability principles and practices * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and quality in work products Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, or a related field) * 5+ years of experience in building controls, client support, or a related field * Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools and technologies * Strong understanding of cloud computing and software as a service (SaaS) platforms * Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems * Strong knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability best practices and standards * Ability to lead and mentor teams and provide guidance and support to colleagues Skills and Competencies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify solutions * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams and stakeholders * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ * Experience with building controls systems and software, including programming languages and tools * Strong understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability principles and practices * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and quality in work products * Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to lead and guide teams and provide guidance and support to colleagues Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits As a member of the Walmart team, you will have access to a wide range of career growth opportunities and learning benefits, including: * Opportunities for professional development and career advancement * Access to training and development programs, including online courses and workshops * Mentorship and coaching from experienced colleagues and leaders * Opportunities to work on high-impact projects and initiatives * Access to a diverse and inclusive work environment, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Work Environment and Company Culture Walmart is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with a commitment to innovation and excellence.
