Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team of industry-leading experts, consultants, and technologists. As a key member of our CENTROID Data Science crew, you will be responsible for supporting the development of innovative solutions to complex delivery chain challenges. Your work will include collaborating with our team to design and optimize inbound community layouts, center mile community flow, last mile transportation and returns, inventory placement and targets, and transportation and monetization strategies. Key Responsibilities • Support the development of smart solutions to make informed decisions in network transformation • Collaborate with our team to design and optimize inbound community layouts, center mile community flow, last mile transportation and returns, inventory placement and targets, and transportation and monetization strategies • Assist in the development of optimization models using linear programming, mixed integer programming, and non-linear programming techniques • Support the implementation of advanced statistical modeling techniques, including machine learning and deep learning • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business operations • Communicate complex technical results to both technical and non-technical audiences Essential Qualifications • Ph.D or M.S. in a quantitative field, such as Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics, with up to 10 years of relevant work experience • Experience with optimization toolkits/libraries, such as CPlex, Gurobi, XPressMP, or open-source solvers • Strong software development skills in languages, such as Python, and familiarity with machine learning libraries, including Scikit, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras • Ability to query data using SQL and experience with data visualization tools • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications • Established expertise as a full-stack data scientist, with experience developing, optimizing, and scaling models for production environments • Experience with cloud technologies, including GCP, Azure, Spark, Hive, and TensorFlow • Strong background in optimization modeling strategies, including linear programming, mixed integer programming, and non-linear programming • Experience with advanced statistical modeling techniques, including SVM, random forest, Bayesian inference, graph models, NLP, computer vision, and neural networks • Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed articles and presenting research at top-tier conferences Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
